Perform MathType and MathML equation cleanup tasks.
The SAI Math Equation tools are designed to support math equations through the WFDW. The full procedure requires the MathType add-in, which is used to convert Word-embedded equations first to MathType equations, then to MathML. Properly scribed MathML can be used in .sam, .scml, IDTT, HTML, and ePub files.
Insert Equation Callouts
Inserts a Scribe-style callout in front of every MathType equation in the file.
Note: MathType equations are different from Word-embedded equations. The MathType add-in is required to convert Word-embedded equations to MathType equations.
Apply Math Construction Style
Applies the mconstruct style to MathML equations and performs general cleanups to condense their display in Word. To apply mconstruct, the MathML equations must first be converted from MathType to MathML using the MathType add-in.
The Digital Hub requires the use of mconstruct in order to convert MathML equations from one file type to another.
